Yihu Zhu is the Founder and Chairman of TigerIoT. With a background in product design and R&D, he is a technology-driven entrepreneur who has devoted more than two decades to the fields of building automation and HVAC controls in China. He has long focused on the core technologies of electric actuators, control valves, and balancing valves, and has developed extensive expertise in structural design, materials engineering, and performance under complex operating conditions. In the smart heating sector, he was among the first to drive the integration of actuators with software control, communication protocols, cloud platforms, and IoT technologies, building intelligent heating solutions that combine mechatronics with cloud-based data coordination.
Through years of hands-on industry experience and keen market insight, Mr. Zhu accurately assesses competitive dynamics and technology trends, continuously guiding the company’s R&D direction and technical roadmap and driving the evolution from key components to system-level solutions. He advances both in-house innovation and vertically integrated manufacturing, emphasizing reliability, consistency, and full life-cycle quality management, and has established strong capabilities in manufacturing and quality control. Products developed under his leadership have been delivered to more than 50 countries and regions and are widely used in commercial buildings, smart factories, and critical infrastructure such as data centers.
